Delete your account and data

Last updated 20 August 2026

If you never signed in, there is nothing to delete. The free tier keeps your watchlist only on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes it. We hold no record of you, so there is no request to make.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately and needs no email to us.

If you would rather not, or you no longer have the app installed, use the email route below instead.

How to request deletion by email

Send an email to info@securitytavern.com with the subject Delete my StonkWatcher account.

Send it from the email address you signed in with. That is how we confirm the request is yours. We are not able to act on a deletion request for an account we cannot verify you own — that protection works in both directions.

We complete deletion within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

What is kept, and why

Purchase records. If you ever paid for a subscription, the record of that transaction is kept for as long as Lithuanian tax and accounting law requires — up to 10 years. This is a legal obligation we cannot waive at your request. It contains the transaction, not your watchlist or your behaviour.

Crash reports already sent are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to it, so they cannot be selectively removed. They expire on their own within 90 days.

Backups. Deleted data can persist in encrypted database backups for a short period before those backups cycle out.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because the subscription lives in Google Play rather than with us. Cancel it in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.

Other requests

You can also ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or object to how it is used. Same address: info@securitytavern.com. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of your rights.
